"Michael listened to me throughout the process & ensured he incorporated everything I needed into my extension. He was innovative and came up with space saving ideas that would never have occurred to me. I was actually amazed at what he was able to achieve with the space available."

This traditional 1930’s semi-detached property required a self contained ground floor unit within the footprint of the existing garage. At the frontage, the extension was designed to mimic the existing bay of the Dining room in order to add character to the house as a whole while also adding floor area. The existing Porch space was extended outwards to facilitate a new door into the new unit while creating a secure common access and retaining private access into the main house. The unit was intended to house a Study area (within the new bay), Bed space, Kitchenette and Ensuite. For added flexibility, the unit was also connected (via the main house kitchen) to the rest of the property. Externally, the sloped roof was designed to incorporate a triangular glazed feature to encourage light into the deep plan.
